Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Community Supported Program – 2017
-by todd suttles, #TakeaPeek
Over the past year, my dad, Bill Suttles, has been busy painting 50 smaller sketches to be included in the 2017 Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Community Supported Art Program. This is a terrific program that helps support the Blue Ridge art community as well as allowing starting young collectors to acquire artwork. There are nine artists participating each year. Each artist creates 50 original artworks. The artworks are then assembled into 50 bundles or shares. The resulting fifty shares are then sold for $300 each to collectors. Each collector who purchases a share will receive one original artwork from each of the participating artists. The 2017 artwork is picked up by the shareholders at two pickup events (parties). On September 14, 2017, Cucina Rustica will host our first pickup event which will include rustic Italian fare. October 27, 2017, we invite shareholders to the newest addition to Downtown Blue Ridge, Gather.
2017 shares may be purchased here, hope to see you at one of the pickup parties!
