Still Life Vase
It is Way Back When Wednesday again. Last week I posted "Hurdy Gurdy Cat, Provence." Today's painting is an oil on canvas and dates back to the late 60s-early 1970s. It is large, measuring 47x31 inches. It has no title.
My dad does not do many still lifes. However, he gifted this one to me soon after he painted it, and it has been with me on the wall ever since.
The subject of the still life is a dried flower arrangement in one of my mom's hand-built ceramic pots. My mother was very busy in those days creating ceramics. I will post a few of her pieces below as well.
