The Varsity, Number Three
It is Way Back When Wednesday again. Last week I posted Varsity Number One. Today's post is number three of three. (see December 28)
The Varsity is an Atlanta institution for anyone who lived in Atlanta in the mid-1900s. It is still popular for all of the items mentioned above in the illustration's menu. The best "grilled steak" in the world was only 35 cents back then (Krystals were only 5 cents).
